Frame Sizing Guide

NoIR offers a variety of frames to fit different face shapes and sizes, as well as accomodate people wearing prescription glasses. Please use the below guidelines to find the optimal frame for your needs.

Please keep in mind that although sizing guidelines are consistent within each frame category, they vary across the categories. Wrap-around frames fit closer to the face, while the fitovers run larger because they are often worn over prescription glasses.

Wrap-around frames curve around the side of your eyes and provide a closer fit and a wider field of vision.

Fitover frames are designed to fit snugly over the prescription glasses. They run a bit larger and wider than wrap-around glasses, hence their size designations differ from the wrap-arounds.

Pediatric frames feature wrap-arounds (Frame #14, KM and KS), a clip-on (Frame #16) and a fitover (Frame #41) that are suitable for children and can also accommodate very petite adults.

Clip-on frames attach to your prescription frames as needed. They are intended for the low vision glasses only.

Goggles come with an adjustable strap and fit snugly against the face, forming a protective seal around the eyes. NoIR #60 goggles are for laser applications only.

Optimal Comfort Fitover Guide for prescription glasses users

Measure your prescription frames by placing them on the sizing chart. Your measurements will dictate the size of the fitover frame you need, and guide you to the best possible frame option on the right.

How to Measure Your Prescription Frames

1. Align the left side and bottom of your frame to the bottom left corner of the guide below.
2. Your frames will fit inside the fitovers listed if contained within the guides for that size/frame.
3. Your frames will not fit into fitovers if outside the guides for that frame size.

Click the Fitover Guide button and print to full scale to get acurate frame measurements. Measuring your glasses against the screen will not give you accurate results.

How we measure our frames

W – width is measured center to center at the temple hinge screws

L – length refers to temple length, measured from the temple screw to the end of the temple tip
