Dye Laser Eyewear

Dye laser is a tunable laser using a dye (typically liquid) as an active medium. Since dyes vary, the wavelengths cover a broad range from the ultraviolet (320 nm) to the infrared at about 1500 nm. Applications for dye lasers are likewise broad, including medical treatments of port-wine stains, hemangiomas, facial telangiectasias, scars, kidney stones, and other blood vessel disorders. Other medical uses are applied in dermatology, cardiology, laser angioplasty, lithotripsy, thermolysis, urology, and laser cancer phototherapy and diagnostics. Aside from medical applications, dye lasers are utilized in science, spectroscopy, industrial field, miltary, and tattoo removal.
