Ho:YAG
The Ho:YAG (or holmium) laser is a high-power, solid-state, near infrared, pulsed laser that emits light at 2100 nm. It is often used for surgery in extensive urology procedures, orthopedics, gynecology, dentistry, general surgery, laparoscopy, neurosurgery, lithotripsy, and angioplasty. Ho:YAG lasers can cause damage to the cornea when set to high energy, and operated from close distances. Proper laser safety glasses are important to protect your eyes from damage.
