Ruby Laser Eyewear
A ruby laser is a three level solid state laser that uses a synthetic ruby crystal as its laser medium. The active laser medium (laser gain/amplification medium) is a synthetic ruby rod that is energized through optical pumping. Ruby laser produces pulses of coherent visible light at a wavelength of 694.3 nm (deep red color) and is used for treating age spots, freckles, and other pigmented lesions, melasma, as well as hair removal and tattoo removal.
