Argon Laser Eyewear

Argon laser emits wavelengths of blue-green light in the range of 458 to 514 nm found in the visible portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. It is a unique gas laser that uses a noble gas (argon) as the active medium and it's commonly referred to as argon ion laser. Argon Ion lasers are primarily used in a variety of medical treatments including ophthalmic surgeries such as treating glaucoma and other diabetic eye disease through retinal phototherapy. Argon laser is also applied In dermatology for treating various skin disorders, ulcers, lesions and polyps. Other uses include forensic medicine, Raman spectroscopy and microscopy, holography and optical pumping source, and other scientific, research, commercial and educational applications.
